Most insurance companies provide coverage for Registered Dietitian services. 

Navigate Nutrition Consulting will provide each client with a superbill for insurance reimbursement.  It is the client’s responsibility to check with their insurance company for coverage details and for submitting the proper paperwork for reimbursement.  When clients make an appointment they will be advised that many issues are not covered (for example, weight loss), while other related conditions might be (i.e. diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, food allergies).  Prior to your appointment it is important to ask your insurance company these questions:

  • What medical conditions for dietitian services are covered under my plan?

  • How many sessions with RD’s are allowed in a calendar year?

  • What percentage of the visit is covered?

  • Has my deductible been met?

  • Is a referral from a physician is needed?

 

Cash or check payment is due at the time of service.  Additional sessions provided beyond package terms will incur standard hourly fee.  Navigate Nutrition requires a standard 24 hour cancellation notice.  Cancellations made on day of appointment or no show will be billed the entire session fee.

Telephone and email consultations will be billed via PayPal.  Payment must be received prior to consultation.
